As you may already know, Kodak Black made comments about Lauren London following the death of Nipsey Hussle that many felt was insensitive and disrespectful towards the long-time partner of the rapper. As a result, Kodak Black’s music was banned from being played on Power 106. Now, the rapper has taken to Instagram Live to apologize to Lauren London for his comments.
In the video, Kodak apologized to London for possibly offending her with his thoughts, but also noted that he doesn’t think he truly disrespected her. Along with that, Kodak Black made it clear that Nipsey Hussle inspired him to want to do more for his community. Watch the apology above.

After the clip went viral online, rapper T.I., rapper The Game, and singer/Kodak’s label mate Tank called him out. Tip and Game’s responses were much more aggressive than Tank’s. Following their videos being posted, Kodak got back on IG Live to try and explain what he meant, but his explanation didn’t really clarify much of anything.
