Kodak Black Apologizes For Disrespecting Lauren London

As you may already know, Kodak Black made comments about Lauren London following the death of Nipsey Hussle that many felt was insensitive and disrespectful towards the long-time partner of the rapper. As a result, Kodak Black’s music was banned from being played on Power 106. Now, the rapper has taken to Instagram Live to apologize to Lauren London for his comments.

In the video, Kodak apologized to London for possibly offending her with his thoughts, but also noted that he doesn’t think he truly disrespected her. Along with that, Kodak Black made it clear that Nipsey Hussle inspired him to want to do more for his community. Watch the apology above.

“Lauren London that’s baby, though. She about to be out here single. She’s finna be a whole widow out here,” he said. “I’d be the best man I could be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and shit for dude (Nipsey).”

“I ain’t trying to shoot (my shot) at her.” he added. “I’m saying…She can do two, three years. I’ll try to be like the friend if you need to holla or a shoulder to lean on. She can call my line.”

So disgusting and ignorant!

After the clip went viral online, rapper T.I., rapper The Game, and singer/Kodak’s label mate Tank called him out. Tip and Game’s responses were much more aggressive than Tank’s. Following their videos being posted, Kodak got back on IG Live to try and explain what he meant, but his explanation didn’t really clarify much of anything.
