Kristoff St. John‘s cause of death is still unknown.
Although the coroner has completed “The Young and the Restless” star’s autopsy, the cause of death has been deferred pending toxicology results, Page Six confirmed. The autopsy was completed Monday morning, and St. John’s body is ready for pickup.
According to a spokesperson at the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, the autopsy was done Monday and his cause of death has been deferred pending additional toxicology results. The Blastreports that his body is now ready to be picked up by his family.
As we reported, St. John was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Sunday. He was just 52 years old.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, an investigation took place around 2:05 p.m. into a potential alcohol overdose at the 2300 block of Morea Way. His body was later discovered after one of his friends went to check on his wellbeing.
Sources close to the star said he had been suffering since his son’s suicide. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
