As part of their divorce settlement, Los Angeles Sparks star Candace Parker will reportedly pay Shelden Williams $400,000 in alimony.
Although Williams earned more than $12 million during his NBA career, Parker earned significantly more in her career, including endorsements and her stint overseas. As a result, the former baller filed for joint custody and spousal support in their split.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Now, in a little over a year since his filing, Williams has scored big in his settlement.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀According to TMZ, Parker has agreed to nix the ongoing spousal support payments and cough up a $400,000 alimony check to her ex-lover. The couple has also agreed to divide their profits on their old California home, which just sold for almost $4 million.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀As for their daughter, the two have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody with no child support. Instead, the two will co-parent and split the cost of her education.
