Remy Ma younger sister Remeesha Alesia Blount, was arrested following a shooting incident.
Multiple reports confirmed that the shooting incident took place last last week Friday in the parking lot of the End Zone in Raleigh, NC. Sources say 27-year-old Remeesha fired multiple shots into a vehicle occupied by three women before using her car to hit one of the females while they were fleeing the scene in a panic.
The incident occurred at End Zone Bar & Lounge. While it is unclear what dispute might have caused the shooting, witnesses allege Blount shot one of the bar’s patrons in the parking lot and fired shots into a vehicle carrying three unidentified women who were fleeing the scene. While attempting to get away, the car struck the woman who had been shot.
Blount was arrested at an apartment complex approximately five miles away from the shooting. She’s been charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, three counts of assault with intent to kill, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm. The woman who was shot and hit is said to be in stable condition and recovering at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.
Blount is currently being held without bail after a magistrate determined she is not expected to keep her court date or might be a danger to the community if released. According to The News & Observer, she also has pending charges from prior arrests including assault with a deadly weapon, shooting a gun inside city limits, and pointing a gun.
Remy has yet to publicly speak on her sister’s legal troubles.
