Mo’Nique And Whoopi Goldberg “Go At It” On ‘The View’ (Video)

Looks like Whoopi Goldberg had enough of Mo’Nique’s beef with Oprah Winfrey, Lee Daniels and Tyler Perry.

Mo’Nique stopped by “The View" on Thursday to continue her campaign against Netflix for low-balling her on her stand-up special.

Mo’Nique brought up her issues with the film industry, dating back to her role in the critically-acclaimed 2009 film Precious, when she turned down the offer of going to the Cannes Film Festival to talk up the film. Claiming that they ‘wanted me to come work for free’, she said: ‘[They wanted me] to go over to Cannes, and promote this film internationally. ‘And I said to them, “Guys my deal is with Lee Daniels, and I’ve done my job" and they all agreed.’ Referencing the recent revelations about sexual harassment in Hollywood, Mo’Nique said: ‘This is what happens, in my humble opinion, when you don’t go up to the hotel room.’

Whoopi jumped in and said: ‘Wait, I’m gonna stop you. Contractually, when you make a movie, regardless of who you sign the deal with, your job is to go and promote said movie. ‘So when they wanted you to come – and we’ve had this conversation – and I said, “If you had called me, I could have schooled you on what was expected." Mo’Nique replied: ‘We had that conversation and what I said, my sweet sister, I said, “Whoopi, at what point do we stop saying, the next time?" ‘If I’d don’t something wrong contractually they would have sued me. The reason why they couldn’t do anything to me contractually is because they found out I’d done nothing wrong contractually.’
