Former boxing champ Adrien Broner was arrested in Atlanta Monday night for allegedly sexually assaulting someone, TMZ Sports has confirmed. 28-year-old Broner was taken into custody late Monday evening.
Officials told the publication that cops were called to the Lenox Square shopping center, where a woman told police that Broner had apparently, “inappropriately groped her.”
Broner denied the allegations entirely, but following an interview with the cops, they believed that there was indeed enough evidence to arrest him for misdemeanor sexual battery. The 28-year-old was transported to Fulton County Jail without incident.
Only last year, Broner was arrested for allegedly punching a man on the Las Vegas strip and just doesn’t seem to be able to keep his nose clean.
The former boxing champion is scheduled to face a judge around 9 AM local time.
