Sylvester Stallone is being investigated by police over an allegation that he raped a teenager in the 1990s.
The 10-year statute of limitations has expired, but authorities are reportedly investigating the woman’s claim. It will be presented to the District Attorney’s office, who will then decide whether to prosecute.
Stallone not only denies the allegation, he intends to file a complaint requesting that the police investigate his accuser, according to his lawyer Marty Singer. Police, however, will investigate the woman’s claim first.
Though Stallone is accusing the woman of filing a false report against him, she is not the only person to accuse the 71-year-old actor of sexual assault. A report was recently released accusing Stallone and his former bodyguard Michael De Luca of forcing a 16-year-old girl to perform sex acts on them in Las Vegas in 1986.
The Daily Mail obtained a police report that claimed Stallone and his alleged victim met at a hotel where they were both staying. She said the actor invited her up to his room and asked whether she had ever had a threesome. She says she was then “forced into giving both men oral sex,” according to the documents. The woman declined to press charges but told police she was “humiliated and ashamed.”
Stallone has denied all the allegations against him.
