Woman orders a yoga mat and receives something else instead.
However, nothing comes as more of a surprise than what this online shopper mistakenly received at her door.
A South Carolina woman who wanted to remain anonymous, was shocked when she opened up a package, which she thought would be a yoga mat, found her mail contained with a large bag of illegal drugs!
According to WSOCTV, the box contained roughly 20,000 oxycodone pills worth an estimated $400,000.
The woman said she immediately contacted the police.
York County drug agents told the news outlet that the box was shipped from Newport Beach, California.
Weirdly enough, Drug unit commander Marvin Brown said that the drugs are usually shipped to “vacant apartments [and] homes where people have gone to work for the day.”
He also shared that the pickup person usually waits outside the home to accept the package.
Brown said he thinks whoever mailed the box most likely meant to send it to the woman’s old address because no one is living there.
The pills have all been taken into evidence by the Rock Hill Police Department. They’re also looking into who sent it and who was supposed to receive it.
While the unknown lady may have lost out on a yoga matt, it’s an even bigger loss for the drug dealer who mistakenly sent the package.
