Chicago’s own Katie Got Bandz was recently arrested for allegedly committing identity theft in Chicago. According to the Cook County Sheriff’s office, she was arrested and booked on August 7 and the judge on the case held her on no bail.
Update (Aug. 9, 7:25 p.m. EST):
Seems like Katie has already been released from jail, as the Cook County Sheriff’s website now shows she no longer has any bond. In addition, Sam Charles, a reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times, tweeted Katie was actually first booked back in June, but after allegedly missing court dates, a judge issued a warrant for her arrest and kept her without bail. It was then reportedly reduced to $50,000, and she apparently bonded out today.
