The undefeated boxer visited the 46th Precinct Police Station in The Bronx, New York, to honor and pay respect to fallen officer Miosotis Familia.

The slain officer was killed on July 5 by a police-hating gunman while sitting in an NYPD mobile command vehicle. The shooter, Alexander Bonds, 34, has a history of mental health issues.

However, there is a bright side to this otherwise tragic story. The NYPD hero achieved her lifelong dream in the days following her death.

Familia, 48, was posthumously promoted to detective at her funeral on Tuesday. Her 87-year-old mom found the strength to go forward despite her tragic loss.
