Briggs hasn’t been arrested, and Chicago police told TMZ Sports that no warrant has been issued for the arrest of Briggs. Police are investigating the incident.

In August 2007, Briggs was charged for abandoning the scene of an accident after crashing his Lamborghini along the Edens Expressway.

Briggs last played football in 2014 and has officially retired from the game after going unsigned during the 2015 offseason.
