Judge Rules Meek Mill Violated Probation, Sentencing Set For February

You do the crime, you must do the time!

Meek Mill has been found guilty of violating his probation, specifically, for attending the American Music Awards in Los Angeles this November.

The Philadelphia rapper was in court today pleading with a judge, trying his best to convince her that he was on the straight and narrow, citing some of the high points of his 2015, which include entering a committed relationship with Nicki Minaj and being in consideration for an Academy Award thanks to his Dreams Worth More Than Money intro, “Lord Knows,” which helped soundtrack Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan‘s boxing blockbuster, Creed.

Meek’s out-of-state travels being approved by the court is–and has been–a condition of his probation, and the judge has set the sentencing for February, and until then, Meek cannot leave a 5-county area around Philadelphia.
